Aaron S. Cantor, MD, FAAD
Dr. Cantor grew up in Chester County and graduated summa cum laude from the University of Pittsburgh with a double major in Microbiology and History & Philosophy of Science. Afterwards, he was a Rotary Ambassadorial Scholar in Australia, where he researched melanoma drugs and traveled the country on dozens of speaking engagements. In 2012, he commissioned in the Navy Health Professional School Program and earned his medical degree from Penn State College of Medicine. Dr. Cantor then completed family medicine internship at Naval Hospital Jacksonville and served as the general medical officer for Combat Logistics Battalion 2 at Camp Lejeune. He deployed with Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force – Crisis Response – Africa.
Dr. Cantor completed dermatology residency at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center with multiple publications, served as chief resident, and is board certified by the American Board of Dermatology. He sat on the American Academy of Dermatology Melanoma & Skin Cancer Community Programs Committee and is a member of the Association of Military Dermatologists. He previously practiced dermatology at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth as well as Associates in Dermatology of Hampton, VA and looks forward to caring for you.
He credits his parents for inspiration to succeed as a first-generation physician and his wife for support during military billets and dermatology training.
